General information
Service offered: Advice and assessment services for people with a complex speech and language communication difficulty requiring augmentative or alternative communication (AAC). All input from the CAC service is in conjunction with the service users own Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) Team. Advice on communication aids. Working alongside Health and Social Care Trust local SLT teams to support AAC assessment. Also provides education and training.
Target group: People with communication problems.
