General information

Service offered: Chorley Women's Centre has been empowering women for over 40 years. We are a well-established and deep-rooted charity and have a long history of providing a safe space for the women of Chorley and South Ribble. Our main aim is to support and help women find solutions to their problems, so they feel empowered to help themselves. With experience and progression, we have evolved to offer many of our services, to all gender identities. We are well regarded as the local hub for wellbeing, offering a holistic package of support, social inclusion, and empowerment. Individuals are given support, information and if appropriate, referral to our other services (such as domestic and sexual abuse counselling) or signposted to other organisations. All service users benefit from the wrap-around support that the centre offers including 1-2-1 listening service, drop-in service, holistic therapies, social space, support groups and activities within the community.

Target group: Women primarily, however counselling services are open to all genders

Area served: Chorley, South Ribble.
