General information

Service offered: The service provides advice and casework for the general public on benefits, housing and debt issues. Appointments are available around the borough Monday to Friday and we offer telephone advice service. The service manages the council’s Local Welfare Provision scheme which makes payments for people in financial crisis, and we also offer financial and digital outreach and training for professional and groups of residents – please contact us for further information.
