General information
Service offered: We provide information, signposting and advice on all aspects of setting up and running a charity in England. We produce good practice guidance, organise training, webinars and events. We offer a paid consultancy service. We assist in the development of voluntary sector networks and represent the interests of member organisations to the government. We have a diverse community of over 17,000 member organisations – a third of the voluntary sector workforce in England. We help them thrive in what they do by providing expert support and guidance, and by keeping them up to date with the news and developments that affect them. We connect organisations with the people, partners and resources they need to make the biggest difference. We represent the voluntary sector and volunteering to government – using the best research, we demonstrate their true value and help influence policy-makers. We support voluntary organisations by generating and identifying the best knowledge and expertise. We also offer room hire and conference facilities in central London.
Target group: Staff, volunteers and trustees of voluntary organisations and charities.
