Service offered: Single point of contact within the Ministry of Defence for veterans and their dependants seeking help, information and advice. Answer queries directly or put callers in touch with an appropriate organisation who can help. Also responsible for claims for and administration of War Disablement Pensions and War Widows Pensions, together with claims under the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme.
Target group: Ex-members of the Armed Forces & dependants. Those claiming or receiving war or widow pensions.
