Service offered: Home improvement Agency Services which helps disabled, vulnerable and older people to adapt, maintain and repair their homes to enable them to live independently and be warm and safe. The Agency assists clients to access Local Authority grant funding where applicable. Works include disabled adaptations, domestic property repairs, heating installations, minor adaptations, hospital discharge, privately funded work and a handyperson scheme. The Agency charges fees which normally are included in grant costs. Works are often in conjunction with Adult/Children's Social Care, Housing Department and Occupational Therapy.
