Service offered: Charity for people in need, running six community projects: Community Café serving breakfasts and lunches, with support, advice and counselling for people in need with issues including housing and homelessness, benefits and financial crisis and facilities including showers, laundry, clothing store, phone and internet access. Nightshift project providing assistance to people in need through a street patrol on Saturday nights. Child Contact Centre on fortnightly Saturdays. Ice Project supporting young people through mentoring and a daily school-based drop in. Men’s Shed, a workshop for men to socialize and work on community projects. HAVEN supporting Primary and Secondary age children struggling with their mental health -eating disorders, anxiety, stress, feeling low, self-harm, withdrawn, grief, demotivated, or low confidence.
Target group: Homeless people and others in need in the local community.
