General information

Service offered: We conduct home security, home safety and fire safety assessments in the homes of eligible residents living in Hammersmith and Fulham. If any work is necessary to minimize the risk of an accident, house fire or burglary this can be completed free of charge for people aged 65 or over and those registered with a disability. We also offer a handyman service for all H&F residents. We are able to undertake work which includes hanging doors, putting up shelves, building flat packed furniture and fitting curtain rails and blinds. We charge £50 per hour, including VAT (minimum charge of 1 hour) plus the cost of any materials (a discount is given to people receiving a means tested benefit). The service is run as a social enterprise so all profits raised are re-invested into the charity and used to assist those in need living in the local area.
