Service offered: McKenzie Friends: Support and information for refused asylum seekers without legal representation to attend the First Tier Asylum and Immigration Tribunal (Phoenix House), including support with making fresh claims. CHAT (Care and Hospitality at Thornbury): Refreshments, a friendly face and a listening ear for those attending a hearing at Phoenix House. The Hosting Project: Short or medium term accommodation for destitute asylum seekers in the homes of volunteer hosts. CHAT English Conversation Club: for refugees, asylum seekers and all non-native speakers to improve confidence and fluency in English.

Target group: Asylum seekers.
