Service offered: Housing options service including assessment of entitlement to housing for people who are homeless or threatened with homelessness. Administers applications to the council’s housing register and nominations to registered providers (housing associations) in the local authority area . General housing advice and information for private and housing association tenants and homeless people. Discretionary rent deposit scheme available for people with a local connection who are currently living in East Herts and are threatened with homelessness to access a property in the private rented sector.
