General information

Service offered: Services Include: Providing access to accommodation including hostels for immediate housing, and applications to Councils for ‘duty’ or private landlords for a room or flat. Making benefit applications and dealing with appeals. Gain documents vital to housing and sustainable living such as passports, birth certificates. Immigration and migrant support – including support for clients with no recourse to public funds, EU migrants and asylums seekers. We are currently being assessed for OISC level one advice status.Advocacy and support to help clients overcome barriers, fears and phobias that prevent gaining or retaining housing. Examples include fear of external agencies, fear of health services, fear of paperwork.

Target group: People in the local community in need, particularly homeless/ marginalised people.
