General information
Service offered: Kinship is the leading kinship care charity in England and Wales. We work with all kinship carers – the grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, and family friends – who are caring for children when their parents can’t. We want to make sure every kinship family is recognised, valued and gets the support they need. Kinship is here to help all kinship carers to get expert advice and information. And to support them to access emotional support through peer support groups and connecting with other kinship carers. Kinship provides the following: Advice service, Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 2.00pm. Free online workshops for kinship carers. Someone Like Me - telephone support for kinship carers with kinship carers. Project worker support in commissioned areas. Peer support groups (face to face).
