General information

Service offered: Free, confidential help and support for everyone attending or working in court. Whether you are attending for yourself, supporting someone else or working within the courts; we are here to listen, guide and assist you. We work with voluntary groups and health professionals to offer help to people with urgent needs and arranges referrals or signposting to support services. Issues dealt with include alcohol, drugs, health, parenting, housing, debt, family problems, employment, benefits, sexual and physical abuse. We can be a listening ear, a support whilst waiting to go into the courtroom, a friendly face in the courtroom or a sounding board for what you would like to say. We can help give you advice and guidance about court procedures and lessen anxiety/stress prior to court.

Target group: Anyone within court - defendants, victims, witnesses, those supporting someone else and any court personnel.
