Service offered: Domestic Abuse Navigator Service: The DAN Service provides a responsive integrated support service for women with complex needs who are fleeing domestic abuse. We provide assertive outreach and strength based needs led support to help women (and their children) navigate and overcome barriers which have prevented them from accessing stable accommodation. The service supports women to enable them to take control back over their lives and improve their safety, well-being and independence. Complex Needs Service: The Complex Needs Service provides supported accommodation, group work and triage services to those with complex needs across Co Durham. The service provides tailored support to address the client’s individual needs, to maximise independence, working towards successful move-on in to independent living and reducing social isolation. Dual Diagnosis Service: The service works with clients with mental health and substance use support needs. We take a person-centred approach in order to provide support around mental health to reduce isolation, improve health and well-being outcomes and increase independence.
