General information
Service offered: We do not provide advice. We provide practical and emotional support for asylum seekers and refugees and other migrants at risk of harm by matching them with local volunteers who help them to connect to life in Leeds through individual and group activities. We provide English tuition to people who cannot get to classes because of caring responsibilities, or restricted mobility and temporary accommodation for destitute asylum seekers (closed referral route, contact Positive Action For Refugees and Asylum Seekers or British Red Cross Refugee Services. We also provide information and support to refugee community groups via helpinleeds.com and migrationpartnership.org.uk. Please use the link to refer people: lassn.org.uk/refer
