General information

Service offered: Legal advice on a range of issues. Housing - defending possession proceedings, disrepair, homelessness, evictions, harassment. Immigration - marriage applications, asylum applications, divided families, visitor applications, refugees. Rights at work - discrimination, unfair dismissal, redundancy. Also advice on disability rights and community care. Training and campaigning.

Target group: General public.

Area served: Metropolitan Borough of Rochdale, including Pennines, Middleton and Heywood.

How to contact: Phone or contact for an appointment. Sessions held in local community centres and CABx.


Monday: 10am-12 noon Adviceline employment

Tuesday: 10am-12 noon Adviceline immigration

Wednesday: 10am-12 noon Adviceline employment

Thursday: 10am - 12 noon Adviceline housing

Friday: 10am-12 noon Adviceline immigration


Office Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (Closed to the public on Wednesday)
