General information
Service offered: Vale Community Impact, or VCI, serves Wantage, Faringdon, Watchfield, Shrivenham and all surrounding villages in Vale of White Horse Council. It provides three services. Advice – topics include debt, benefits, employment, consumer rights and many more. Transport scheme - provides travel to hospitals, doctors and day centres for people unable to use public transport. Good Neighbour scheme – provides support to elderly and vulnerable people including befriending and shopping. VCI also hosts loneliness pop-up café’s in village halls across the district every 2-3 weeks.
