General information
Service offered: Information and resource centre for deaf people, offering information and support on a range of issues, including housing, benefits court, family disputes, access to employment, communication rights, health and Domestic Violence. We organize social events for deaf people across the county in 6 different locations. BSL courses (offered via a partnered company in Peterborough or Cambridge on a paid for basis) for those wanting to learn Sign Language. We provide volunteer befrienders to those that are highly isolated. We can provide specialist personal care and social support to Deaf people with additional disabilities.
