Refugee and Migrant Centre

Trained advisors and caseworkers, accredited up to Level 3 by the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA), provide support with immigration, housing, destitution, health, education, employment, and financial issues, and also deliver English (ESOL) classes, Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training, and resettlement programmes with wraparound service to help individuals build skills, confidence, and stable lives in their new communities.

Offer advice, help and practical support with home improvement works. Works can range from the fixing of a grab rail through to a full bathroom, kitchen adaptation. Provide housing advice through the First steps service and can assist with any Grant applications.

Advice, information and support for parents and carers of children and young people aged 0-19 with special educational needs. Telephone helpline, case work support, SEN Parent/Carers Forum, information about support groups and organisations, access to independent parental support.
