NHS Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull Talking Therapies

NHS Talking Therapies operates as a collaboration between Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust and Coventry and Warwickshire Mind. It is a free NHS service to help people with mild, moderate and moderate to severe symptoms of anxiety and low mood.

Lighthouse Christian Care

Counselling service for anyone experiencing emotional and/or relationship problems including bereavement, depression, anxiety, anger and low self-esteem.

Your Students’ Union Advice Service is a free, independent and confidential service for students based at Coventry University, Coventry University London, CU Coventry, CU London and CU Scarborough. The service process advice, support and representation where necessary on a wide range of issues including academic and university regulations, student finance, financial hardship and housing.

Coventry Irish Society

Coventry Irish Society provides a service to all generations of the Irish community in Coventry and the surrounding areas. The Coventry Irish Society (formerly known as ICARG) was set up in 1993 in response to a need to provide health and welfare services to some of the most vulnerable members of the Irish community in Coventry. Our organisation has gradually evolved to provide a wide range of health and welfare services and a variety of cultural and heritage projects.

CRASAC - Coventry Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre

CRASAC provides specialist support to women, men and children who have been affected directly or indirectly by rape or sexual violence at any time in their lives. This includes online abuse and exploitation. We aim to address the trauma and injustice of sexual abuse and exploitation through specialist counselling, advocacy, and emotional support services.

Coventry Independent Advice Service Limited

Coventry Independent Advice Service is a charity offering free advice, information and support. We hold the Advice Quality Standard, a national quality mark for organisations providing free, independent advice to members of the public. Our service is confidential and our skilled advisers can help you with things like: Identifying entitlement to benefits and helping you make claims. Helping you to sort out debt or other money problems. Challenging decisions on benefit claims. Helping you find other kinds of support. New weekly drop-in advice surgeries. No appointment is needed, but if you need help with completing benefit claim forms we strongly advise you to call us for an appointment to avoid disappointment. Time is limited at our drop-in surgeries and we may not be able to help everyone who attends. Surgeries are at: Holbrooks Community Care Association – every Tuesday morning from 9.30 to 12 noon. Tile Hill library – every Tuesday morning from 9.30 to 12 noon (from 4th February 2025).

Coventry Resource Centre for the Blind

Coventry Resource Centre for the Blind is a registered charity providing practical and social support for blind and partially sighted people, their families and carers in the Coventry area. We offer a wide range of activities including social groups, IT sessions, support with smartphones and tablets, creative writing, music, craft, cooking, walking, allotment, T’ai Chi, bowls, braille, Showdown and yoga. We have four monthly satellite groups around the city, a monthly creative reading group and a youth group. We organise regular theatre trips and occasional outings. All our sessions are fully accessible and supported by experienced volunteers. We have a minibus service to bring people safely to the centre from their homes and back again. We provide advice on and access to products and technology designed to make living with a visual impairment a little easier, as well as providing casework and general support and signposting. CRCB operates two charity shops, one at the centre, one in Bedworth.
