Telephone helpline, CBT based treatment and support for people experiencing anorexia, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder and OSFED. Monthly support group, individual counselling and specialised programmes.

Hertfordshire Hearing Advisory Service

Advice and information for deaf and hard of hearing adults and for their carers. Advice and information on technical equipment. Mobile Hearing Aid Clinics visits locations across the county - see website for schedule. These are run by trained staff and volunteers who are ready to maintain hearing aid and issue you with new NHS batteries throughout the county. We do not retune hearing Aids. We do not help to maintain private hearing aids. County-wide voluntary visiting service for housebound people with hearing aid problems

Jobcentre Plus - Leighton Buzzard

Combined jobsearch and benefits service for people of working age. Personal advisers assist with jobsearch activities and benefits claims. Access to Jobpoint terminals for information on job vacancies. Part of the Department for Work and Pensions' Jobcentre Plus network.

CAN Young People Team Bedfordshire

Services for young people aged 10-18 experiencing problems with alcohol or drugs. Advice and information, assessment, individual counselling, group work, drop-in facilities. Health screening by nurse practioner. Referrals to detox. Auricular acupuncture. Sexual health advice. Arrest referral scheme. Bedfordshire Refugee and Asylum Seeker Support

Support for refugees and asylum seekers. Advice sessions deal with a range of issues, including applying for asylum, benefits and accessing appropriate services.

Bedfordshire Open Door

A registered charity offering up to 12 sessions of free, confidential 1-1 counselling and group work for 13-25 year olds supporting with issues such as anxiety, bullying, abuse, depression, loneliness, loss and bereavement. Face to face, telephone and online counselling available. Schools and outreach services by commission.

Bedford and District Cerebral Palsy Society

Information and support for people with cerebral palsy on a range of issues, including care, respite care, holidays, leisure opportunities, equipment and transport. Holiday playschemes and Saturday morning activity sessions. Parent/carer support. Monthly hydrotherapy club. Grants for equipment and holidays for those in need

PUKE Bedford

Outreach service offering advice, information and support for young people up to the age of 25 who are concerned about their own or another person's alcohol use. Services include assessment, group work, alcohol education, self-help and aftercare. Part of the James Kingham Project.
