Hospice in Rossendale

Care for patients with a life limiting illness and their carers and families from diagnosis, through to treatment and support until death. Day Therapy, Hospice at Home, counselling, befriending, complementary therapies and transport. Advice and education on palliative care. Bereavement support. Outpatient clinic.

Stafford and District Bereavement and Loss Support Service

Counselling, advice and information for anyone who has experienced a bereavement or loss who over the age of 18 years of age. People can be seen face to face, via telephone or via online Zoom

Treetops Hospice

Treetops Hospice is the leading end-of-life care charity for Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. Treetops provides nursing care and emotional support for adults with life-limiting conditions, those who’ve been bereaved, and their families. The services are available free of charge, from diagnosis onwards. Treetops offers end of life nursing in patients’ own homes, counselling for grieving children and adults, personalised wellbeing support and confidential advice.

St Catherine's Hospice

Specialist end of life care for people who have incurable illnesses. In-patient unit, day care services, specialist community team. Day care services offer various activities and health care, transport can be provided. Advice, support and counselling for patients and carers. Training in specialist palliative care.

Face to Face Counselling Service

Counselling by appointment for people aged 18. One-to-one counselling. One-to-one in person, online or telephone. We offer our service to people on a low income with a household income less than £23,000, the sessions cost £5 to £20 depending on income. Cover a range of issues including bereavement and loss, abuse, self harm, relationship difficulties. Dates of appointments have to be individually arranged with clients.

Derwent Rural Counselling Service

Counselling for anyone experiencing emotional or mental stress, especially people socially and economically disadvantaged by the effects of rural deprivation. Can help with relationship problems, marital problems, stress and anxiety, family relationships, depression and bereavement. We have now expanded under the IAPT banner and provide counseling support throughout the whole of Derbyshire.

Northpoint Wellbeing

Northpoint is one of four agencies delivering the Leeds IAPT service in Leeds, as part of the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies programme. We also provide therapeutic support to families through a range of targeted services. Other services include group therapy and a private therapy service as well as on-line services. Derbyshire Carers Association support carers who look after a friend or family member who, due to illness, disability, mental health problems or an addiction cannot cope without their help and support.
