Crisis Skylight - Edinburgh

Crisis Skylight Edinburgh works with people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in Edinburgh, Midlothian, and East Lothian. We offer Initial Engagement and Assessment services, Structured Coaching, and Strengths and Assets coaching helping people to learn, develop skills, and improve their confidence and circumstances. We also offer a variety of volunteering opportunities, both within Crisis and with external organisations.

Cyrenians Foundations to Employment Project offers support to those with multiple/complex barriers:e.g. Convictions, Alcohol and/or drugs, Low social skills, A lack of self-management, Low self-esteem or lack of confidence; who are looking to find a job or secure further learning opportunities. The project provides: High quality one-to-one outreach support (using Cyrenians Key Worker Practice model)/Mechanisms for connecting people to the right resources and opportunities relevant to their specific needs/Work experience/placements within Cyrenians social enterprises/Help matching people to other employers for work trials, tasters or jobs/Practical support to plan and make the transition into employment
