Telephone helpline providing information and advice on a wide range of disability issues for disabled people and their supporters in Edinburgh. Subjects covered include travel, transport, aids and equipment, housing, access, welfare benefits, sources of funding, leisure, holidays, employment, health, education and training, personal care. Samaritans of Edinburgh and the Lothians SCIO

Telephone helpline operating 24 hours a day offering emotional support for anyone in crisis. Offers a listening and befriending service to people who are in despair or who are suicidal. The office is not yet open for face-to-face drop-in appointments. We will post on our website if/when this service resumes. The national Freecall Samaritans number (116 123) can put callers through without delay to their nearest unengaged branch.
