Need detoxification and a comprehensive rehabilitation programme. Partners or family members of people who have problems with alcohol or drugs. Islamophobia Response Unit IRU

Islamophobia Response Unit (IRU) is an independent charity dedicated to supporting people affected by Islamophobic incidents in England and Wales. We are a platform for victims of Islamophobia to confidentially report their experiences. Our purpose is to provide legal guidance, help clients and ensure their voices are heard. Amidst rising levels of Islamophobia and around half of all religiously motivated hate crimes being directed at Muslims, we put them at the heart of our organisation.

Provide peer support, advocacy, free confidential helpline with information and advice on the disclosure and barring service, applying for jobs, financial matters, travelling abroad with convictions and licence conditions. Cannot provide legal advice. Website has links to resources and publications. Down's Syndrome Association

Information, advice and support for people who have Down's syndrome throughout their lives, for families, carers and professionals. The DSA provides advice on all issues, with a daily helpline phone and email service, training (including online training), assessments, consultations, employment program (Workfit) and sports/activities program (DSActive). Specialist advice include benefits, medical and healthcare, development, complex needs and dual diagnoses, education, adult social care and support, and speech, language and communication. DSA campaign and policy work includes include Tell it Right (maternity services), Health Alert, Education, and Support for Adults (It’s My Life). Outside office hours answerphone gives an emergency contact number. 100+ affiliated local groups.
