Range of services for older people. Advice and information on benefits and other issues, including housing. Companionship visits, carers' respite, hospital aftercare, day clubs, help with managing domestic chores, help with managing pets at times of medical crisis. Campaigns on behalf of older people.

ATD Fourth World

Family support network with regular meetings and opportunities to learn parenting and life skills for families living in poverty. Forums where people can meet and talk to policy makers. Campaigns on poverty and human rights. Full time and part time volunteering opportunities available.

Greater Manchester Immigration Aid Unit

Legal advice and representation on immigration, nationality and asylum issues. Training and campaigning on immigration and nationality and asylum.

RNID Scotland

Advice and information for deaf and hard of hearing people, their families, carers and professionals working with them. Communication services (interpreting, lip speaking, note taking), deaf awareness training. Providing equipment to view or test and purchase, membership and volunteering opportunities. Information and advice free, charges for some of the other services. Campaigning and lobbying

Carers Wales

Carers tell us that one of the most important thing they need is expert advice and information. Carers Wales provide this – over the phone, through leaflets, and on our website. Many carers do not seek support early enough in their caring journey, or don’t know about the range of practical, financial and emotional support available. We believe no-one should care alone. Our mission is to make life better for carers. We give expert advice, information and support. We connect carers so no-one has to care alone. We campaign together for lasting change. Sheffield Occupational Health Advisory Service

Information, advice and advocacy for individuals whose health is affecting their ability to do their job or whose job is causing them to suffer ill health. Information, advice and advocacy for anyone whether that is from a mental or physical health point of view. We can support people who have simple or complex health issues, including Long Covid, Cancer and ADHD or work in industries that are dusty, noisy or work with dangerous chemicals. We can help people with work related benefits e.g. PIP and ESA and provide information on employment law and your rights at work.

West Scotland Deaf Children's Society

Information and advice on all aspects of deafness in children and young adults, including benefits, education and equipment. Also provides practical support through local representatives. Campaigns for improvements in health, education and benefits. Run by families and parents.

Who Cares? Scotland

Advice, information, advocacy, local initiatives and support for young people who are or who have been in looked after and accommodated in public care. Provide an opportunity for young people to meet with policy makers who provide child care services. Campaign for improvements to the child care system in Scotland.

North of England Refugee Service - Tees Valley

Asylum law advice, support and referrals. Help with housing and subsistence, accessing health, education, support services and solicitors. Referrals for refugees to access training and employment. Development work with refugee community groups. Campaigning and refugee awareness training, volunteering programmes, voluntary return programme and liaison with other agencies.
