Age Concern - Slough and Berkshire East (Head Office)

Range of services for older people. Advice and information. Lunch club at Age Concern Old Windsor Day Centre, 27b Straight Road, Old Windsor, SL4 2RW), providing activities, outings, and exercise classes, 3 days a week from Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Home visiting service for isolated, housebound older people. Handyperson, shopping, cleaning, and Befriending services. We can also provide a Free Will service.

Asian Health Agency - Parvaaz Project

Range of services for young Asian people (12-25) with disabilities, and their families. Basic advice, information and advocacy. Transport to assist access to local services. Numeracy and literacy sessions. Activities, including indoor sports, arts and crafts, cultural events. Campaign for the provision of culturally appropriate mainstream services for disabled Asians.

Autism Berkshire

Information and support for autistic adults and the parents and carers of autistic children and adults, autistic-related issues or challenging behaviour. Telephone advice on all issues affecting the rights of people with autism, including health and social services, education and respite care. Organise leisure activities and social and activity groups for autistic children and adults. Manages the Thames Valley Autism Alert Card scheme.

Slough Borough Council - Housing Needs Section

Assessment of priority need under the Housing Act. Can provide temporary accommodation for those assessed as in priority need - those with children or pregnant, vulnerable because of age (60+), disability or at risk from violence.
