Off the Record - Bath and North East Somerset

Off the Record provides a range of free, confidential and independent advice and services for children and young people that support the development of their emotional and mental health and wellbeing. The organisation works with young people between the ages of 10 and 25 in the Bath and North East Somerset area. Young people can refer themselves to the organisation and access services such as counselling and specialist advice, as well as gain access to support groups for vulnerable people (such as LGBT+ young people). Services include; Listening Support and Counselling. Advocacy - support for young people when they need help to communicate with people or services in their lives e.g foster carers, parents, schools. LGBT+ Support. Support for families and young people through Education, Health and Care Plan assessments. Specialist groups that support children and young people wanting to influence government policy and more that affects them e.g. services for children in care.

Advice and information about fostering. Assess, train and support foster carers. Find foster families, long term foster carers and supported lodgings hosts.

Harrow Assessment and Brief Treatment Team

Offering services for adults with mental health difficulties who live in the east of the borough and support for their carers. Pharmacy service, information leaflets concerning return to employment, care plan assessments, Arts Psychotherapies and Electro-Convulsive Therapies (ECT). LB Barking & Dagenham Social Services - Children and Families

Social work team for children and families which takes all referrals and refers on to the child protection team if appropriate. Neighbourhood teams and duty and child protection teams based at this office.
