Advocacy, education and support for African refugees and asylum seekers. Family support. Education and mentoring for young people, including CV preparation, help with job applications, interview skills, jobsearch. IT courses, literacy and numeracy classes.

Waterloo Community Counselling

Low Cost Counselling Services offers accessible, affordable counselling to people living in London. Clients can access counselling from 18 weeks up to 2 years. There is a sliding sale of charges, starting at £20. We do also provide a concessionary rate for those in receipt of benefits. The Multi-Ethnic Counselling Service provides time-limited, mother tongue and culturally sensitive counselling via language counsellors for 8-12 weeks. Multi-Ethnic Counselling Service works with refugees, asylum-seekers referrals, and people who may not be entitled to access statutory services beyond primary care.

If you’re affected by cancer, Dimbleby Cancer Care can offer you high quality information and support. We offer a range of information on all aspects of living with cancer along with psychological support, complementary therapies (including clinical aromatherapy, massage and reflexology plus relaxation and stress management workshops), support groups and a benefits advice service. The information drop-in service is open and available for patients, family members and carers. We are also happy to be contacted by phone or email. Psychological and Complementary Therapy outpatient services offer an appointment based system by NHS video link or telephone.
