Making Space is a national charity and leading provider of health and social care services. We have been helping people with care and support needs, and their carers, to lead independent and fulfilling lives since 1982. We provide services from Cumbria to Cambridgeshire, supporting people in their own home, in their local community and with specialist care and support services. Manningham Project

Advice and information for the local community. Deal with a range of issues, including benefits, immigration, housing and debt.

Sight Airedale

Support and information for registered blind and partially sighted people. Daily living shop with display of aids and equipment, digital audio book library and computers with speech facility. Computer training. Social centres in Keighley, Silsden and Bingley, special needs grants, newsletter in large print or on tape. Accommodation. Braille and audio transcription services.

Bradford Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia Centre

Information, advocacy and counselling for people with sickle cell disorder or thalassaemia and their families or carers. Provides advice on treatments and services. Clinic on Tuesday and Thursday by appointment only. Promotes awareness of sickle cell and thalassaemia.

Bridge Project (Bradford)

The Bridge Project is a charity providing services for people from across Bradford’s diverse communities with substance misuse issues and/or multiple needs.

Barnardo’s Adoption North England

Adoption services for the general public. Specialise in finding homes for disabled children, older children, Black and Asian children and groups of brothers and sisters. Cruse Bereavement Support - Craven & Bradford Area

Support for bereaved adults and children from 5yrsin the Craven and Bradford Area. Support for people caring for a family member or friend who has a terminal illness.

Bangladeshi Community Association (Keighley)

Centre for the Bangladeshi community and other local people. Advice on welfare benefits, education and training, money and debt, housing rights, immigration. ESOL classes. Youth work. 50+ group, women's group, mother and toddler group. Social and cultural events. Pre school nursery.

The Cellar Trust

Work and training opportunities for people with mental health problems. Advice and guidance on training, job opportunities, job searching and benefits. Community cafe and organic allotment project at Marley allotments, Keighley. Haven is a new 365 day a year service at The Cellar Trust, developed as a result of the Crisis Care Concordat following the work to establish the First Response crisis service, and the Sanctuary (a nighttime mental health service based at Mind in Bradford). Haven is a partnership between The Cellar Trust as a local mental health charity, the NHS Bradford District Foundation Care Trust (BDFCT) and the local authority (BMDC). It is being established to provide an alternative to A&E for people who are in mental distress and need support.
