Advice and information for older people and their carers including pension age benefits, housing, care and local services. Advocacy: elder abuse specialist. Projects include: Hospital to Home, Making the Link, Macmillan Prostate Cancer Support, Mental Health Hospital After-care, Health & wellbeing activities. Internet access available and rooms to hire.

Holbeck Together

Advice and support for the community. Advice on benefits, housing, care and social services provision, job support, home security and keeping warm in winter. Lunch clubs, befriending scheme, day trips and social events. Exercise classes, wellbeing groups, coffee mornings. Kids Clubs.

South Leeds Live at Home Scheme

Help, support and advice for people over 60 in South Leeds who are living independently in the community or in sheltered housing. Weekly social activities, including shopping trips, friendship clubs and exercise classes. Monthly day trips. Advocacy, advice and information, befriending.

Making Space - Head Office

Making Space is a national charity and leading provider of health and social care services. We have been helping people with care and support needs, and their carers, to lead independent and fulfilling lives since 1982. Information and support for anyone with learning disabilities, including information on health and parenting. Also provide products and services to professionals and staff who work with or provide services to people with learning disabilities, including training.

Bramley Elderly Action

Range of services for older people (60+). Drop-in centre, advocacy, full and half day trips and a bereavement social group. Social and leisure activities, including gentle exercise, tai chi, dancing, bingo, line dancing, men's group, stroke club group, craft, singing, tea dances and much more.
