Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (Coventry and Warwickshire)

Part of the NHS Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) initiative, this service offers short-term psychological therapies to people with mild, moderate or moderate to severe symptoms of anxiety, depression and stress. Treatments offered (mostly Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) may also work for people who experience panic disorders or phobias. This service can be accessed by people living in and registered with a GP in Coventry, Rugby, Solihull and Warwickshire.

Assessment of entitlement to housing for people who are homeless or threatened with homelessness. Housing provided for people considered in priority need of housing. Temporary accommodation may be available while enquiries are made about eligibility. General housing advice and information for private and council tenants and homeless people. If you’ve been affected by crime, call your local victim care team in Warwickshire on 01926 358060. Lines are open 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. Alternatively, you can contact us via live chat any time (available 24/7). If you need support outside of our open hours, call our Supportline for free on 08 08 16 89 111 or request support via our website. We also run drop-in sessions throughout Warwickshire. We’re an independent charity and you can contact us for support regardless of whether you’ve contacted the police, and no matter how long ago the crime took place. We’ll help you for as long as it takes to overcome the impact of crime. If you call your local Victim Support team, we’ll make sure you get the information and support you need. This might be arranging a meeting for you to talk to us and receive emotional support in confidence, getting advice on how to make your home more secure, or referring you to other specialist organisations that can also help.
