The Wallich - Swansea Bond Board / Swansea PRS Team

Service for households who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and in receipt of a low income. A Referral may be required from the Swansea Council Housing Options team in some instances. Provision of a bond guarantee certificate in lieu of the cash bonds required by private sector landlords and letting agents (to guarantee deposits). Also offer information to applicants, landlords and tenants regarding to the private rented sector and benefit issues. Part of a wider Private Rented Sector Access Team (PRS Access Team) which includes a tenancy support worker and a landlord support worker.

ChildLine Cymru/Wales

Telephone and online counselling service for children and young people, dealing with any issue of concern to them.

ARA (Swansea)

We offer face to face counselling in our central Swansea location, as well as phone and Zoom options to support people in the best way for them to stop gambling. As a member of the National Gambling Treatment Service (NGTS), Ara works in partnership with GamCare. The National Gambling Treatment Service is a network of organisations working together to provide confidential treatment and support for anyone experiencing gambling-related harms, free to access across England, Scotland and Wales.

Platfform

Services for people with mental health problems. Work with people to ensure their mental health crisis doesn't result in a housing crisis, & vice versa. Work with people leaving hospital to ensure suitable accommodation is in place. Support people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness to find accommodation that will support their mental wellbeing. Supported housing, floating/tenancy support.

City and County of Swansea - Housing Options

Homelessness Prevention - Support and mediation to remain in home either long term or short term whilst looking for somewhere else to live. Assessment of entitlement to housing for people who are homeless or threatened with homelessness. General housing advice for the general public. Access to the Council's housing waiting list and nominations to registered social landlords. (See Notes)

Cancer Information and Support Services

Services for cancer patients, their carers, families and friends and for health professionals. Emotional support and One to one Counselling. Helpline every day providing information and support on all forms of cancer, screening, treatment and prevention. Library, internet facilities and a charity shop.
