Additionally, Cardiff YMCA Housing Association is a charitable Housing Association and a Registered Social Landlord. We are registered with the Welsh Government and we directly manage two hostels in the Roath area of Cardiff, providing accommodation and support to people who are homeless. We provide supported accommodation to 120 people in Cardiff with the belief that everyone should have a safe place to stay. Our residents receive the support they need in order to achieve and sustain the transition into independent living. We have an onsite Employment, Education and Training team who work with our residents to achieve and meet their goals at all levels to include the opportunity to volunteer within the hostel in various departments to include the kitchen, domestics, and maintenance. We also have our own Private Rented Scheme that works with landlords in the community to house our residents and provide support through the lifetime of the tenancy when needed.
