Information, advice and support for people who have Down's syndrome throughout their lives, for families, carers and professionals. The DSA provides advice on all issues, with a daily helpline phone and email service, training (including online training), assessments, consultations, employment program (Workfit) and sports/activities program (DSActive). Specialist advice include benefits, medical and healthcare, development, complex needs and dual diagnoses, education, adult social care and support, and speech, language and communication. DSA campaign and policy work includes include Tell it Right (maternity services), Health Alert, Education, and Support for Adults (It’s My Life). Individuals can self-fund or be funded through their local authority services.
