Information for parents, parents-to-be and medical professionals on pregnancy health issues and reducing the risks of problems during pregnancy and birth. We are the largest charity funding research into the causes of miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth.

City Advice

Free advice on a range of issues including legal issues, welfare benefits, housing, employment, consumer rights, relationships, health and wellbeing and debt. Offer health signposting service.

Smokefree City & Hackney

An NHS local authority-funded stop smoking service for adults (18+) who live work or study in Hackney or the City of London or who are registered with a Hackney or City GP. We are a stop smoking service providing advice and medication for adults in Hackney and City of London who wish to stop smoking. Last year we supported 1350 people to quit smoking. Camden, City, Islington and Westminster Bereavement Service

Short-term bereavement counselling for adults living or working in Camden and Islington. People with a GP in these boroughs can be seen through our funded (free) service for short-term therapy/counselling. People from other boroughs, i.e. Westminster, City, Haringey, Brent etc., can be seen through our low cost contributions service. The service offers face to face appointments and a limited number of remote appointments using phone or video.

Hackney Domestic Abuse Intervention Service

We'll listen to you, assess how safe you are, provide information and support on your legal and housing rights, support you if you go to court, help you to obtain legal protection and work with you and other professionals to help make you safer. Making you safer might involve helping you separate from the person who is hurting you, bringing in additional services to assist you with different needs that you have or by trying to reduce the risks you face if remaining with the person who is hurting you. If it is safe to do so - and following discussions with you - we can engage directly with the person who is hurting you to try and reduce the harm they are causing you. We will work with you and won't force you to do anything you're not ready to do.

Positive East

We are the largest HIV charity in London, providing services for people living with or affected by HIV. Our main office is in Stepney Green but you can access the services we deliver in many places across East London. Our aim is to be there for you whenever you need information, advice and support. Our HIV prevention service offers free, fast and confidential HIV tests. We offer HIV tests in more places than anyone else in London. Not only that, our trained staff will offer support to help change any behaviour that might put someone at risk of HIV or STI's. Our support services include recently diagnosed support including treatment advice, welfare rights and housing advice over the phone, peer support, support groups, counselling complementary therapies. We offer volunteer opportunities in all our teams.
